A quieter place for personal notes
Secret Vault is a local-first diary and note space for writing you do not want tied to an account or a cloud-synced profile. Choose a strong passphrase, keep exports, and treat recovery as part of the routine.
Open Secret VaultWhat it is for
Write privately
Notes are encrypted on your device with a passphrase you choose. The service is not given that passphrase.
Keep a portable copy
Export encrypted .vault files when you want an independent backup or are moving to another device.
Add more than text
Keep supported image and voice-note attachments with the note they belong to.
Plan for recovery
Strong encryption cannot recover a forgotten passphrase. Store it safely and test your exported backups.
Questions people ask
Can you reset my vault passphrase?
No. The passphrase is not sent to us, so there is no reset route for encrypted content. Keep a recovery method you trust.
Where do my notes live while I work?
The app uses local browser storage for the active workspace. Export encrypted backups for anything important.
Is this a password manager?
No. Secret Vault is a private note and diary tool. Do not treat it as a replacement for a dedicated, audited password manager.
